Students who have cleared the Senior Secondary Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with at least five subjects are eligible.

5. Equivalent International Qualifications

Students who have studied in foreign or international schools and have qualifications recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to the Indian 10+2 system can apply.

6. Vocational and Diploma Courses

Candidates who have completed the Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination, or

Those holding a 3-year diploma recognized by AICTE or State Boards of Technical Education are also eligible to appear for JEE Main 2026.

Age Limit for JEE Main 2026
